HRABAL ARCHITECTURE PROCESS is the implementation of a methodology into the design process in order to ensure a frictionless transition to the later project stages in a sustainable and process oriented manner.

This application provides clients with maximum reliability and full transparency. All issues related to the design are communicated in a coherent way, and the project milestones are lined out clearly in the iterative process of the design phase. Also in the later project stages traceability and comprehensibility are the basis for sustainable quality and efficiency.

  1. Pre-Phase

    Introduction, Offer Assignment
Prior to the actual project start stand acquisition, first contact and discussion of the general requirements, offer and in case of acceptance assignment and contract.
  2. Hrabal Concept Process

    Analysis Process Basic Conditions

Architecture is based on three major parameters:

    • situation,
    • feasibilities and
    • needs.

Due to the structured analysis of these parameters in a newly developed and transparent way the specific requirements are worked out, which as facts and focal points form the basis for the further steps in the value-added-chain. This process is based on purpose-made tools:

    • the HRABAL-situation-check list,
    • the HRABAL-feasibility-fact-sheet and
    • the HRABAL-needs-analysis-matrix.
    Synthesis Process Overview

While the prior process was newly conceived, the synthesis process is a fully new component of the concept phase. These two process steps together form the innovative core of this unique approach. All facts and focal points from the analysis undergo a synthetical process in order to get a structured and transparent overview before starting to design the actual object, which in particular is of great importance concerning the implementation of all parameters within complex projects.

    Design Process Concept

The conceptual phase is completed by the classical design process, which is by now a process totally concentrated on architectural and structural issues. In this way the final design is a result of a systemic process and not the outcome of any arbitrary creative enlightenment.

Such a composition impresses by conceptual maturity and represents a purpose-made sustainable and efficient solution.

  3. Hrabal Project Management Process

    Planning Process Plans

This first step in the project management phase is designated to the detailing and specification of all informations and to the integration of all consultants needed (statics, building physics and services etc.) in order to get the approval by the authorities and to work out the technical fundament for the future stages.

    Tendering Process Tenders

Tendering is the most fair and transparent way of procurement. This is recommandably managed by elaborating bills of quantities and quality specifications, which are the basis for a bid invitation.

    Contract Process Contracts

After receiving the offers are checked calculationally and technically and put into a price comparison list. This process ends up in making contracts with the best bidders.

    Execution Process Object

Based on the prior stages the construction of the object can be executed. The project manager coordinates and controls the site works, and monitors deviations to be able to countersteer if necessary in order to reach the goals set.

  4. Handover

    Formal Handover Usability

The formal handover is necessary for quality control, and marks an important interface according to liability issues. After reaching the goals concerning cost, time and quality the object’s usability with sustainable satisfaction by the client is ensured.
