Babenbergerring Federal Secondary School

Wiener Neustadt
2001

The oldest secondary school in Wiener Neustadt needed space for new EDP classrooms, which was created by finishing the attic. Because of the value of the historical structure and the orientation of the new rooms towards a medieval fortified tower, planning was coordinated with Federal Office for the Care of Monuments. To minimise the visual impact of rooftop windows, an innovative system was used to make them flush with the roofline.
